Philippine boxing saint Manny Pacquiao is holding sponsorship transactions with games clothing organizations after US monster Nike dropped him over his questionable remarks on same-sex couples, his business supervisor said on Tuesday.
Nike cut ties with the eight-time title holder a week ago after he portrayed gay couples as "more terrible than creatures".
The 37-year-old's remarks, which Nike portrayed as "detestable", touched off a firestorm of universal feedback, especially from US competitors and the lesbian, gay, swinger and transgender group.
"There are a few as of now in the pipeline. They (the Pacquiao camp) were really arranging with some as of now," Pacquiao business supervisor Eric Pineda told AFP without naming the organizations.
