US warplanes have dispensed attacks on militants from the supposedIslamic State (IS) in libya, killing a minimum of thirty eight individuals.

The strikes hit Associate in Nursing IS camp in Sabratha, around 70km (43 miles) west of Tripoli.



US officers aforesaid it had been "likely" that the strikes had killed senior Tunisian extremist, Noureddine Chouchane.
Chouchane has been coupled to 2 attacks that occurred in African nationlast year, together with Associate in Nursing attack that killed thirtyBritons.
The cluster had been actively "planning attacks against U.S. interests", Pentagon spokesperson Peter Cook aforesaid.
